$125.00Jeremy’s score 92/100Sumptuously and deeply ripened, but with the brightness and vivaciousness that derives from a later season such as 2015, this mouthfilling and supple wine delivers luscious cassis, dark plum, and mulberry flavour backed by chocolatey, cedary oak and a fine, pliant spine of loose-knit tannins. ItÕs smooth and approachable, but will certainly develop in the bottle.

Saltram Mamre Brook Shiraz 2023
$30.00Jeremy’s score 91/100While it’s a hefty 14.5% alcohol, this Barossa shiraz reveals the restrained and approachability you see from the cooler seasons. Its aromas and flavours of cassis, blackberries, dark plums and blueberries knit tightly with cedary, chocolatey oak, while its soft, round and slightly warm palate is framed by a gentle cut of pliant tannins. It’s no fruit bomb, and neither does it finish sweet. Instead, it’s a pleasing, generous and approachable Barossa shiraz for those who enjoy the species but don’t fancy being whacked by it.

$39.00Jeremy’s score 93/100Fragrant schisty mineral and oyster shell-like scents of yellow flowers, grapefruit, white peach and lemon drop with undertones of creme caramel precede a luscious, mouthfilling and fruit-driven palate whose plush, round presence of vibrant fruit is deftly supported by creamy vanilla oak and finished by a refreshing lemony acidity. An excellent wine, easily able to compete with many priced significantly higher.

$37.00Jeremy’s score 90/100This developing and varietally correct merlot unfolds bright aromas of redcurrants, blood plums and dark cherries backed by suggestions of cedary oak and dried herbs. Of medium to fullish weight, its charming core of flavour extends down a firmish, slatey spine, finishing quite dry and becoming more gravelly with aeration.
