$62.00Jeremy’s score 95/100A complete, complex, elegant and savoury nebbiolo whose seductively perfumed, floral bouquet of cherries and raspberries reveals undertones of dried herbs, underbrush and a whiff of spice. It’s supple and savoury, with a beautiful drive of cherry and cranberry-like fruit and evolving leathery complexity underpinned by a crunchy spine of tightly-knit tannins. Culminating in a long and refreshing finish, it’s drinking superbly now but still has plenty of evolution ahead.

$40.00Jeremy’s score 88/100A rich, round and toasty, buttery developing white wine with some pleasing length, richness and chalkiness. It’s honeyed, lightly spicy and generous, with a pleasing core of citrusy fruit and some creamy, waxy aspects, finishing dry and savoury.

$90.00Jeremy’s score 90/100Charmingly gentle, smooth and supple, with a delicate, dusty bouquet of light floral notes, sweet black and red berries and restrained cedary oak. It’s finely crafted, elegant and willowy, with a pleasing length of gentle fruit, reserved oak and supple tannins, finishing with fresh acids and just a hint of a green edge.

Xanadu Cabernet Sauvignon 2024
$45.00Jeremy’s score 93/100Ok – I’m super impressed with this wine. 2024 was an exceptionally hot and dry vintage for Margaret River, so it has taken a load of smarts in the vineyard and cellar to create this delicious wine. It’s a fuller, more robust and structural cabernet that actually is better on the fifth day of opening! Scented with cassis, dark cherries, blueberries and dark plums backed by smoky, dusty cedar/vanilla oak and lifted by a whiff of violet, it’s plush, full and firm – a classic Cru Bourgeois of some class. There’s a hint of soy at the finish. What an effort – and what value at $45! It seems the fruit usually destined for the Reserve label found its way into this wine. Total respect.
