Its drive of apple, pear and lime flavour finishes fresh and mouthwatering. The perfect al fresco wine for summer. There’s a hint of oiliness that’s likely to become more pronounced with time.

Long and seamless, its pristine, gentle core of faintly sour-edged blood plums, blackberries and cassis is finely knit with chocolatey oak and fine, pliant tannins likely to build extract with time. It’s a polished northern Rhone style, finishing with great balance and savoury qualities. Exceptional.
