$45.00Jeremy’s score 93/100Ok – I’m super impressed with this wine. 2024 was an exceptionally hot and dry vintage for Margaret River, so it has taken a load of smarts in the vineyard and cellar to create this delicious wine. It’s a fuller, more robust and structural cabernet that actually is better on the fifth day of opening! Scented with cassis, dark cherries, blueberries and dark plums backed by smoky, dusty cedar/vanilla oak and lifted by a whiff of violet, it’s plush, full and firm – a classic Cru Bourgeois of some class. There’s a hint of soy at the finish. What an effort – and what value at $45! It seems the fruit usually destined for the Reserve label found its way into this wine. Total respect.

$25.00Jeremy’s score 91/100Alluring scents of honeysuckle, cinnamon, musk and tangerine precede a luscious but gentle palate whose stonefruit and citrus flavours extend down a fine, drying and slatey backbone towards a savoury and faintly saline finish. It’s a finer, more reserved expression of this variety, but still provides an emphatic expression of classic perfume, mouthfeel and flavour.

$28.00Jeremy’s score 91/100Stunning quality and value here – this is a classically proportioned, riper and more assertive Coonawarra cabernet that will please many long-term buyers of the species. Deep aromas of cassis, mulberries, dark plums and chocolate/cedar/vanilla oak reveal earthy and gravelly undertones plus a whiff of mint and dried herbs. Underpinned by a firm spine of drying, ferrous tannins, it delivers excellent drive, richness and power – all in balance and without any suggestion of over-ripeness.

$25.00Jeremy’s score 91/100An elegant, measured Coonawarra blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot whose vibrant aromas of cassis, dark cherries and raspberries are knit with polished cedar/chocolate oak. Underpinned by a fine, plaint texture of crunchy tannins, it’s long and evenly paced, finishing with a lively, measured acidity. Excellent value.
