Medium to full-bodied, itÕs fine and elegant despite a generous juicy richness bordering on fatness that is tightly reined in by fresh, nervy acids. Long and refined, its remarkably clear flavours of citrus and melon are underpinned by a powdery minerality, finishing with genuine focus and balance.

Grosset
Grosset is rightly known the world over for the spectacular quality and charm of its two key individual vineyard rieslings, the Polish Hill and the Springvale, both of which are graded with a Five Star rating, the only pair of rieslings from a single maker to achieve this level of recognition. While Grosset's current releases are all of genuine style and quality, I'm paying particular attention to the 2012 Gaia cabernet blend, which is by far the best wine under this label for many a year.
