Bright, penetrative aromas of white flowers, apple skin, citrus zest and a hint of creaminess precedes a long, complete and finely balanced palate whose mouthfilling citrus and stonefruit flavours reveals suggestions of bakery yeast, grilled nuts and lemon. The bead is very fine and there’s a pleasing chalkiness beneath the palate, which finishes fresh and lemony. Very classy – the ideal aperitif wine.
