Thomas DJV Shiraz Pinot Noir
Lower Hunter Valley

Scented with red flowers, raspberries, cranberries and redcurrants, with a whiff of spice and cedar. It's medium in weight, with a brightly lit core of vivacious red fruits extending with pleasing length down a crunchy backbone. Finishing with a tangy acidity, it will reward a few years in the cellar.

Winery

Andrew Thomas has fashioned a stable of distinctive Hunter wines from its traditional varieties of shiraz and semillon. What makes them unique is their obvious association with benchmarks from the past, their highly polished, spotless nature and balance, plus something a little less tangible and ethereal that makes them completely delicious. The whites are pure, fresh and mineral, while the reds deliver pristine, intense aromas and flavours with remarkable elegance and savoury charm. Over the years Thomas has steadily added to its range, finding sites able to deliver traditional regional style as well as points of difference to existing wines.
