Join me for an exclusive online chat about you and your wine and what's going on in Australia
In early May I'll be hosting a two-hour online chat session especially for customers at Oliver's Wines, giving everyone invited the opportunity to get an answer to whatever wine question or wine-related issue they're wondering about. The session will extend over two hours - to enable people to come and go depending on their timetable. It is scheduled from 6.30 - 8.30pm on Tuesday May the 13th. I'll kick off with some thoughts on the current state of play in Australian wine and the wine economy before handing over to whatever you and others on the session would like to discuss. I'll also give you prior notice of what great value red and white wine I'll have opened on the evening, in case you might wish to grab either or both and join in the tasting with me. To be invited to this event is all you need to do is make a purchase at Oliver's Wines during the month of April.

Jeremy Oliver’s reviews and ratings are 100% independent. He doesn’t accept cash from wineries to taste their wines or let them use his scores and reviews. He believes the public deserves commentary that is the writer’s opinion alone and doesn’t involve a money trail. He has never accepted cash – through direct payment, sponsorship or advertising – from wineries in exchange for reviewing and rating their wines. That’s not about to change. Furthermore, Jeremy will continue to rate and review all wines just the same – whether they are offered for sale at Oliver’s Wines or not. That’s his promise.

Most online wine recommendation systems push all buyers towards the same wines – regardless of their unique tastes – since that’s what the retailer is trying to sell. At Oliver’s Wines we are 100% focused on every user as an individual, and our system only interprets an individual’s preferences before recommending to them as an audience of one. Jeremy tastes and approves every single wine we carry, and also has to approve every change in vintage for wines we carry in stock. This is a process you can trust. Once it’s approved, Jeremy will create content to tell the story of each wine in the store ¬– so you can learn more about it and share this knowledge with your friends, just as you’re sharing the bottle.
