From a later-ripening vintage comes a stylish and precisely focused unwooded semillon of classic Hunter style. Its pristine aromas of lemon, lime juice and green apple skin reveal suggestions of chalk and bathpowder. Round and surprisingly concentrated, it's long and generous, with a fine, crunchy chalkiness beneath its lingering core of flavour, finishing faintly briny with a mouthwatering acidity.

Andrew Thomas has fashioned a stable of distinctive Hunter wines from its traditional varieties of shiraz and semillon. What makes them unique is their obvious association with benchmarks from the past, their highly polished, spotless nature and balance, plus something a little less tangible and ethereal that makes them completely delicious. The whites are pure, fresh and mineral, while the reds deliver pristine, intense aromas and flavours with remarkable elegance and savoury charm. Over the years Thomas has steadily added to its range, finding sites able to deliver traditional regional style as well as points of difference to existing wines.
