A faintly herbal medium-bodied shiraz in a more savoury style, whose vivacious presence of small red berries, cherries and blood plums is tightly knit with sweet, faintly toasty oak and underpinned by a fine slatey backbone. Lifted by fragrant spices, it's floral and moderately long but finishes with some greenish edges and sappiness. It should develop a little more power and richness as it ages.
