A finely crafted, medium-bodied, long and savoury red whose musky, floral fragrance of cassis, licorice, dark plums and cedary oak is lifted by notes of violets and eastern spices. Its intense core of flavour extends seamlessly down a long, tightly defined but generous palate underpinned by slatey tannins, before finishing quite savoury with a refreshing acidity. Very polished and quite European in nature.
