A fine, elegant and textural sangiovese from one of Australia's leading makers of this variety. Bright aromas of juicy red berries, redcurrants and earthy undertones are lifted by sweet spices and floral notes. It's long and complete, with a generous core of gentle but mouthfilling flavour that moves effortlessly towards a lingering savoury finish with suggestions of red licorice and as characteristic acidity. A excellent, expressive wine offering wonderful value.

Coriole is a long-established small wine business in McLaren Vale that applies art and finesse to its long-living expressions of the region's popular specialities of shiraz, sangiovese and semillon. Typically, the current releases are spotlessly made, over-deliver for their price points and offer an alluring combination of flavour, poise and elegance, all the way from the astonishing Redstone Shiraz to the flagship Lloyd Reserve.
