or so says the Real Review. In other words, there are 25 wineries better than that which in my genuine opinion makes the best white wine in Australia and possibly our best table wine overall. And the House of Arras – a specialist sparkling label which has been our leading sparkling maker for decades and which was actually awarded this year’s Real Review’s title of Sparking Wine of the Year – is rated as the country’s 79th best winery. Yes, there are actually 78 better wineries! I always get a chuckle or two when the Real Review releases its typically bewildering list of top wineries. I’m sure there’s a reason that the wineries spin out in the order that they do; it’s just that try as I might, I simply can’t figure it out.
