Scented with violets, this smooth and deeply flavoured young red is slightly jammy and lacking great length, but does retain some elegance. Supported by a supple, smooth spine of loose-knit tannins, its generous presence of cassis, red berry, cherry and dark plum flavours is enhanced by sweet cedar/vanilla oak and reveals dusty undertones of dried herbs.
