A stylish and creamy marriage of superbly preserved fresh lemon juice and honeysuckle fruit with emerging toffee-like bottle-aged influences, set against a spicy background of clove and oregano. Wonderfully fresh, long and intense, with pristine pear and apple, citrus rind fruit. Its fine chalky mouthfeel finishes long and mineral.

Grosset
Grosset is rightly known the world over for the spectacular quality and charm of its two key individual vineyard rieslings, the Polish Hill and the Springvale, both of which are graded with a Five Star rating, the only pair of rieslings from a single maker to achieve this level of recognition. While Grosset's current releases are all of genuine style and quality, I'm paying particular attention to the 2012 Gaia cabernet blend, which is by far the best wine under this label for many a year.
