Winery

Bethany
The Schrapel family has been growing grapes in the secluded Bethany corner of the Barossa Valley since 1852, turning to winemaking in the 1980s. BethanyŐs reds quickly became very popular for their generous, ripe fruit, forward oak and approachable structure. After some pleasing rieslings and reds from recent vintages, the current release wines lack their customary finesse and polish.
