Place of Changing Winds Bullengarook Chardonnay 2019
Lemony, cashewy aromas of green pineapple, green melon, sweet pork fat and air freshener backed by vanilla oak precede a palate that is initially round and oily, with luscious tropical/pineapple fruit but which then thins out towards rather a thin, chalky and seemingly skinsy finish. Lacks real drive and freshness of fruit.

Place of Changing Winds
A small organic and ultra-close-planted vineyard at 500m elevation upon quartz-based gravels established by wine importer and distributor Rob Walters with the help of Bindi's Michael Dhillon. The aim is obvious from the outset Đ to create cool-climate Victorian wines of a style and shape that resembles Burgundy. It's a work in progress.
