Passel Estate
Owners Wendy and Barry Stimpson, from England and South Africa respectively, have developed Passel Estate simply because as regular visitors to Margaret River they connected with its environment and its wines. Hard to blame them! The site is blessed with one of the region's finest soil types: gravelly loam over clay loam. The vineyard was first planted in 1994, with 1.5 ha each of cabernet sauvignon and shiraz. Additional plantings of shiraz (1.1ha) and chardonnay (2.6ha) were later established.
