Paringa Estate The Paringa Pinot Noir 2008
An elegant, stylish pinot that does smooth out with aeration. Its sweet, gamey and floral bouquet of fresh red cherries, raspberries and musky spices reveal undertones of suede leather and nutty new oak with just a suggestion of prunes and dried herbs. ItÕs supple, sappy and very smooth, with a moderately long presence of cherries, plums and berries and savoury oak underpinned by very fine tannins and finishing with a hint of fennel. It does reveal some vegetal undertones after time in the glass.

Paringa Estate
Paringa Estate has made a name for its deeply ripened, coloured, dark-fruited and spicy Pinot Noir, and its fragrant and peppery Shiraz, both of which have traditionally been given generous treatment in new oak. There has been a steady movement in style at Paringa across both reds and whites towards a more integrated fusion of fruit, tannin and oak.
