Winery

Moorooduc Estate
One of the Mornington PeninsulaŐs original wineries, Moorooduc Estate, is now making consistently elegant, flavoursome and silky-smooth wines from pinot noir and chardonnay with impressive regularity. The chardonnays are heavily worked, with rich, creamy textures and occasionally quite overt malolactic influences. Recent vintages have seen more perfume and brightness of fruit in the pinot noirs, each of which are improving significantly. Moorooduc's top tier wines are from individual vineyards such as the McIntyre, Garden and Robinson vineyards, while the company's principal Chardonnay and Pinot Noir labels are generally sourced from two or three other sites in addition to the company's main plantings on Derril Road.
