Luke Lambert
Luke Lambert, apart from being an occasional medium pacer with a bit of genuine zing, is responsible for some very complex, serious and high-quality wines from the Yarra Valley, principally from shiraz and nebbiolo. He commenced his career with a blaze of publicity, but now that he's no longer a new kid on the block is really hitting his straps. The latest wines, from 2015 and 2017 in particular, combine some rare perfume, complexity and elegance, with lingering savoury qualities. They almost please their maker, who is by some margin his own harshest critic!
