Winery
Leconfield
Leconfield is a Coonawarra winery linked by common ownership to the McLaren Vale-based brand of Richard Hamilton. Its reds are typically fine-grained, elegant and cedary, although they can be quite herbal from time to time. Leconfield has continued its fine form of the 2012 vintage with three fine reds from 2013, the Cabernet Sauvignon in particular. The wines are more complete than seen previously, reflecting some significant work in the vineyards.
