Coombe Farm
Coombe Farm is an emerging Yarra Valley producer with high quality aspirations. Able to source fruit from a large vineyard in the heart of the region, its most consistent wine is its complex and elegant Chardonnay, while the typically perfumed and sweetly fruited Pinot Noir is not far behind, the rather fragile 2014 release notwithstanding. Its effort with Cabernet Merlot have tended to be rather green-edged and leafy to this time, although the 2013 vintage is more convincing.
