Bremerton Tamblyn Cabernet Blend 2007
Sumptuous, thick and meaty, this marginally under and over-ripened red delivers a rich, slightly heavy dollop of rather baked plum and berry fruit with undertones of plum kernel, dried herbs and currants. It does however present a lively violet-like perfume and some restrained chocolate/vanilla oak, although thereĆs a hint of saltiness at the finish.

Winery
Bremerton
Bremerton is a maker of very ripe, intensely fruited, generously oaked and affordable red wines suited to immediate enjoyment. Recent years have seen a pleasing refinement, as the wines now appear more elegant and less chunky, with an improved sense of balance and elegance, but without compromising an iota of flavour. As they become more elegant, they're able to cellar for longer. Bremerton is refocusing its white wine endeavours towards Italian varieties.
