All Saints Estate
All Saints Estate is one of the grand original properties of the Rutherglen region, today owned and operated by the family of Peter Brown, one of the Brown Brothers of Milawa fame. There is clearly a willingness amongst the winemaking team to introduce some sophistication and elegance into the All Saints stable, but this sometimes results in compromising the regional identity that led the vineyards to be planted in the first place. The Marsanne 2015 (90/100, drink 2020-2023+) has received less winemaking input than the Family Cellar Marsanne of the same vintage but is more vibrant and regional. The Family Cellar reds, however, tend to deliver more regional weight and expression.
