A fully ripened, compete and finely balanced Victorian pinot whose heady, musky scents of dark cherries, strawberries and gentle cedary oak reveal nuances of tomato stalk, cinnamon and briar. Underpinned by a fine, firmish spine of mineral tannins, its pristine core of vivacious fruit fills the mouth with layers of flavour and texture, extending with freshness and brightness towards a lingering finish of red licorice and a hint of molasses. Gently wrapped by a soft acidity, it’s heading towards a savoury style and is ready to enjoy now or over the next 2-5 years.
