Brown Brothers
Based in north-east Victoria, Brown Brothers occupies a unique place in Australian wine because it has continually shown a determination to make table wines out of virtually every variety grown commercially in this country. This is proving a major advantage in key export markets such as the UK and China where wines like the light-bodied red Tarrango, the sweet, low-alcohol and lightly spritzig red variety Cienna, the summertime Zibibbo wines and the luscious Orange Muscat & Flora are particularly popular. The flagship Patricia sparkling wine continues to impress at a very high level, cementing its place amongst Australia's leading sparkling wines. The Patricia range has been beefed up by the release of the luscious 2010 Chardonnay (95/100, drink 2018-2022+), the finest dry white this company has released for many a year.
