Yering Station
Yering Station is one of the most impressive facilities in the Yarra Valley that has recently refined its structure of labels. Beneath its premier Reserve range -Ę each of which continue to perform at an exceptional standard -Ę is the admirable Estate range, beneath which lies the Village wines and then the Little Yering label. Add to this a collection of individual vineyard wines, and the picture is complete. The most admirable thing about the entire portfolio is that all of the wines, regardless of price or place in the hierarchy, appear to have been made at the same place, with the same philosophy. Yering Station has commemorated the name of its late technical viticulturist, Nathan Scarlett, with the inaugural release of the delicately perfumed and willowy Scarlett Pinot Noir 2013 (96/100, drink 2025-2033).
