What's going on here? How on earth does Franco d'Anna fashion a pinot of such intensity, purity, fragrance and depth of flavour - not to mention its structure, drive and balance - for $20? I'm ordering it immediately for our Shop. There's no way a $20 pinot can be this good; it pulls the rug out from many supposedly illustrious pinots for two or three times its price. A delicious, mouthfilling, satisfying, yong and uncomplicated pinot that gives and gives. And even more the day after if you have the patience...
