Dark and vibrant in colour, this elegant, savoury cabernet unfolds a complex bouquet of cassis, dark plums, cedar/chocolate oak and suggestions of earth and dried herbs. Long, earthy and fine-grained, with a pliant spine, it's complete, supple and poised, underpinned by fine, drying tannins and wrapped in a fresh acidity. Finishes with lingering earthy, faintly meaty notes.

A quality-driven enterprise with an exceptional vineyard whose higher slopes ripen significantly later than its lower reaches, Thelema would be an iconic producer no matter what geography or culture it came from.
