A classically weighted, perfumed and structured cabernet now showing some maturity. Cedar, cigarboxy scents of mulberries, dark plums, violets and cassis reveal mineral undertones. It's medium in weight, with a fine-grained spine of gravelly tannins that becomes more assertive with breathing, providing wonderful support for its still primary expression of surprisingly luscious and mouthfilling fruit. Extending with excellent length, drive and balance, it has plenty of time ahead.
