Bright, ripe and confectionary, with juicy raspberries, maraschino cherries and strawberry favour, it's soft and geneous, extending with modest length down a very gentle spine towards a soft finish that lacks great focus and definition. SImple and early-drinking.

Planted from 1998 to 2000, Angullong now has around 200 ha under vine, extending to a rather massive 18 varieties. Winemaking is very competent, and once the site is fully mature it will be interesting to see which varieties the property becomes known for.
