Moving into autumn there’s nothing finer to match with an Indian summer evening than a classically crisp, dry and perfumed Australian riesling. Looking outside at the blue skies that Melbourne has missed for most of its so-called summer, I’m thinking ahead to my coming trip to Clare, where I’ll be checking in with Tim Adams.
