Doug Neal and his wines feature strongly at Oliver’s Wines because the guy is a winemaking genius (don’t tell him I said that) and because of his unwavering adherence his own creed concerning quality and value – a creed that now has two decades of success to support it. Doug doesn’t get a lot of media – he’s just got too much ability and knowledge for most ‘wine critics’ to handle – but I am pleased to say I fully support Jeni Port’s commentary of him just published on the Halliday site.
