The sparkling wine from the highly rated Freycinet vineyard, Radenti is usually made in rather a wild, meaty and complex style with ultra-long maturation on lees. The current 2002 release is its finest yet Đ a spectacular wine of remarkable evolution but also impeccable freshness and focus. I love the eccentricity behind this wine and the fact that someone is prepared to give a sparkling wine such an extreme opportunity to develop complexity and character.
