The Wilson Vineyard is one of the Clare ValleyŐs long-established producers of classic Australian riesling, a variety in which it is now becoming a specialist. It typically makes a richer and more generous style of Polish Hill River Riesling that cellars with grace and slow pace, while the DJW is typically more nervy and slatey. The Watervale Riesling is a fragrant, juicy expression of perhaps a more mainstream style that provides exceptional quality and value.
