Teusner
Teusner is a small specialist Barossa maker of more restrained, savoury and Rh™ne-inspired table wines, most of which are red. For a company that only commenced with a tiny vintage in 2002, it has leapt ahead of many in the minds of the public and trade simply because it offers great value for money, with styles the larger companies tend to avoid. Each of the wines covered here represent different spins on the Barossa's varietal mix of shiraz, grenache and mataro, with the Avatar blend making a delightful comparison to the identical but unoaked Joshua blend that is usually released a year earlier.
