The McGuigan brand enters this guide with its affordable and often excellent The Shortlist range of table wines sourced from a number of South Australian wine regions. I'm particularly taken by the whites, the Riesling in particular, each of which can perform significantly above their price bracket. The pick of the current red releases is the spicy, savoury GSM from 2012.
