Geoff Weaver
The passing of time has seen a substantial change in the varieties made by Geoff Weaver at his mature Lenswood vineyard. Today there is a focus on chardonnay and sauvignon blanc, varieties with which this experienced winemaker clearly excels. The 2013 Chardonnay and the 2014 Sauvignon Blanc both need time in the bottle to show their best, and both come with the potential to age well. The Ferus Sauvignon Blanc is aptly feral and wild, with some delightful winemaking-induced complexity able to enhance the varietal depth and texture produced in the vineyard.
