Barossa Valley Estate
Now owned by the New Zealand producer of Delegat's, owners of the highly successful Oyster Bay brand, Barossa Valley Estate is to be given a new chance to succeed. Delegat's, which paid $24.1 million for BVE's 5000-tonne winery, 41 ha Barossa vineyard, grape grower contracts, inventory and brands, intends to create an Australian brand based around super-premium Barossa shiraz and paid what many believe to be well over the odds for the chance to do so.
