Its sumptuous, dark-fruited palate extends long and silky, would around a spine of fine, ferrous tannins, driving towards a savoury and pleasingly drying finish of minerals, licorice and crunchy acidity. All about purity, intensity and restrained power, this wine is already complex and approachable, and should acquire more depth and structure as it ages.
