Andrew Marks has evolved a charming pair of Old World-inspired wines in his Shiraz (Dixons Creek) and Upper Yarra Valley Pinot Noir. Both express a restrained, perfumed style in which whole bunch fermentation plays a measured role. Recent vintages are exciting indeed.
