Winery
Sandalford
Sandalford was once a moderately large Margaret River-based producer whose wines have traditionally been very affordably priced. While the reds have been affected by uneven ripening and some questionably chosen oak, there are signs in recent vintages Đ with the Prendiville Reserve and Estate Reserve reds especially Đ that they steadily finding a more even expression of fruit and a finer selection of cooperage. As the brisk and bracing 2015 Estate Reserve Sauvignon Blanc Semillon amply demonstrates, the whites are fresh, lively, balanced and truly regional in their identity.
