Winery

Philip Shaw
Philip Shaw is one of Australia's finest winemakers. His Orange vineyard, which reaches 900 metres altitude, was planted in 1988/89 and now produces deeply flavoured wines of genuine elegance and polish. It's interesting to note that Shaw's wines reflect a depth and purity of fruit to which he judiciously applies flavours and textures from a wide suite of winemaking techniques. The current wines include rather savoury and Francophilic releases of Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz, while the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from 2014 just lack stuffing and true depth of fruit.
