There’s something of the wild, mineral and exotic about its heady perfume of floral, citrus and stonefruit aromas. Long, tight and tangy, its clear lime juice palate builds towards a crescendo of flavour prior to a taut and mineral finish of wonderful length. Grand Cru stuff.

mesh
mesh is the joint venture between an unlikely couple of riesling devotees, Jeff Grosset and Robert Hill Smith. The fruit is equally divided between the two parties but then, after vintage, the finished components are compared to define the final blend. mesh is usually heady and perfumed, remarkably floral and citrusy, with the classic lime juice qualities and chalky tightness expected of Eden Valley riesling. The adherence to style and quality by the last five vintages of mesh is quite extraordinary.
