Grant Burge Corryton Park Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Dusty and herbal, but also revealing rather raisined, over-ripened characters. Its greenish, minty aromas of cassis, mulberries and chocolatey/vanilla oak are backed by hints of capsicum and green beans. Initially juicy and forward but also quite raisined and meaty, it becomes quite hollow and dilute down the palate, thinning out towards a sappy, green-edged finish.

Grant Burge
Since 2015 the Grant Burge label has been part of the Accolade Wines stable. A well-known Barossa brand with a collection of well-known reds headed by the Meshach Shiraz, it has become rather more expensive over recent years during which tie it has struggled to maintain consistency and quality.
