Grant Burge Abednego Red Rhone Blend 2005

Finely made and tightly integrated, this deep, but rather closed red is beginning to develop charming
complexity. Its leathery and chocolatey fragrance of meaty dark plums, berries and prunes reveals spicy, earthy undertones, while its long, leaner and fine-grained palate of fresh, briary blueberry and blackberry flavour builds towards an assertive, astringent but balanced finish of fresh acidity and persistence.

Grant Burge
Since 2015 the Grant Burge label has been part of the Accolade Wines stable. A well-known Barossa brand with a collection of well-known reds headed by the Meshach Shiraz, it has become rather more expensive over recent years during which tie it has struggled to maintain consistency and quality.
