Forest Hill
Forest Hill is a long-established Mount Barker vineyard able to perform well and very consistently with the regionŐs entire spectrum of specialities, from riesling to chardonnay, from shiraz to cabernet. The site is actually Western AustraliaŐs oldest cool-climate vineyard, and its original plantings of riesling and cabernet are the oldest in the state. It rieslings are typically taut, tightly focused and austere, with an underlying chalkiness. The more expensive Block release wines are typically more densely packed with ripe fruit character.
