Winery

Elderton
Founded by Neil Ashmead, Elderton is a popular Barossa-based wine producer which has developed a solid reputation for its plush, smooth and handsomely oaked red wines which typically retain their style from season to season. Sometimes, in a bid to generate extra depth and fruit expression in hotter vintages, the fruit is left out on the vine for longer than ideal, resulting in wines that show both under and overripe characters which impact on quality and reduce longevity.
