Climbing
CumulusŐ range of Climbing wines are sourced from a high-altitude section above 600m within the companyŐs Orange vineyard. While recent cool seasons have left a legacy of greenish, under-ripened reds, the 2012 and 2013 reds tasted to date show genuine varietal quality. Personally, having trialled the blend, I can't see why the Cabernet Sauvignon should not be partnered to more of an extent with its cool-climate partner, Merlot. The wines seem to be crying out for more of each other.
